  9. Q. What does it do for me?
  10. A. QuiKey is the younger sibling of Printer's Apprentice, a full featured
  11.    type exploration program. QuiKey 1.0 gives you instant access to all 255
  12.    characters of every typeface on your system. Just find the character
  13.    you need and click on the copy picture (ie the two little documents
  14.    on the bottom). The character is now in the clipboard, ready to
  15.    be pasted into your word processor or DTP package. You can also
  16.    use the ALT-0-xxx finger excercise, as the ANSI value is also displayed
  17.    in the QuiKey! window.

  19. Q. How do I install it?
  20. A. Place the EXE anywhere, place the VBX file in your
  21.    windows\system directory or anywhere on your path.

  23. Q. How do I get rid of it?
  24. A. If you must, delete QUIKEY.EXE & SS3D.VBX.

  26. Q. Cool. How much is the little gem?
  27. A. A mere $5 for a very elegant solution to the "where is the #@$! copyright
  28.    symbol?" problem.

  31. A. QuiKey! is shareware. If you think it is worth the $5 go ahead and

  41. Q. Do you write any other neat font related stuff?
  42. A. Sure! We also produce the popular program Printer's Apprentice. This
  43.    is a full featured typeface exploration program for DTP folks and
  44.    anyone else who has a huge number of fonts on their systems. It features
  45.    the best looking, NeXT like 3D interface anywhere, on screen keyboards,
  46.    ANSI charts, paragraph examination windows, a toolbox, full control 
  47.    over printed font inventories, printed specimen sheets/ANSI charts/ 
  48.    keyboard charts/character sets, etc. PC World recently included it
  49.    in their run down of great Windows utilities (8/92 issue, p. 174).
  50.    So climb aboard, and find out what kind of character your fonts
  51.    really have.

  54. A. Printer's Apprentice is shareware, priced at $20. It too, is shareware.
  55.    You can probably find it on the same BBS you found QuiKey! If you are
  56.    on Compuserve, GO WINADV or GO DTPFORUM for the latest version. Or you
  57.    can write me for and evaluation copy. Or, if you are so excited, just
