QuiKey! 1.0 for Windows 3.1
(c) copyright 1992 by Lose Your Mind Development

Q. What does it do for me?
A. QuiKey is the younger sibling of Printer's Apprentice, a full featured
type exploration program. QuiKey 1.0 gives you instant access to all 255
characters of every typeface on your system. Just find the character
you need and click on the copy picture (ie the two little documents
on the bottom). The character is now in the clipboard, ready to
be pasted into your word processor or DTP package. You can also
use the ALT-0-xxx finger excercise, as the ANSI value is also displayed
in the QuiKey! window.
Q. How do I install it?
A. Place the EXE anywhere, place the VBX file in your
windows\system directory or anywhere on your path.
Q. How do I get rid of it?
A. If you must, delete QUIKEY.EXE & SS3D.VBX.
Q. Cool. How much is the little gem?
A. A mere $5 for a very elegant solution to the "where is the #@$! copyright
symbol?" problem.
Q. Where do I send it?
A. QuiKey! is shareware. If you think it is worth the $5 go ahead and
write a check payable for $5 to Lose Your Mind Developement,
in US funds to: Lose Your Mind Development

Q. What do I get in return?
A. Peace of mind knowing that you are supporting the shareware system and
and aspiring software developer!
Q. Do you write any other neat font related stuff?
A. Sure! We also produce the popular program Printer's Apprentice. This
is a full featured typeface exploration program for DTP folks and
anyone else who has a huge number of fonts on their systems. It features
the best looking, NeXT like 3D interface anywhere, on screen keyboards,
ANSI charts, paragraph examination windows, a toolbox, full control
over printed font inventories, printed specimen sheets/ANSI charts/
keyboard charts/character sets, etc. PC World recently included it
in their run down of great Windows utilities (8/92 issue, p. 174).
So climb aboard, and find out what kind of character your fonts
really have.
Q. Where, how much, etc...
A. Printer's Apprentice is shareware, priced at $20. It too, is shareware.
You can probably find it on the same BBS you found QuiKey! If you are
on Compuserve, GO WINADV or GO DTPFORUM for the latest version. Or you
can write me for and evaluation copy. Or, if you are so excited, just
send $20 and I will send you a registered version.
